How to Change Your Time Zone

Your time zone determines how dates and times are displayed throughout your ONS Mail account.

The selected time zone is used for emails, calendar events, reminders, and other time-related features.

To access the Time Zone settings:

  1. Sign in to your ONS Mail account.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select the Profile tab.
  4. Locate the Time Zone option.

Selecting a Time Zone

To change your time zone:

  1. Open the Time Zone drop-down menu.
  2. Select the time zone that matches your location.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Your selected time zone will immediately be applied to your account.

Effect on Calendar and Events

The selected time zone is used when displaying:

  • Calendar events
  • Scheduled meetings
  • Reminders
  • Upcoming activities

Changing your time zone helps ensure that scheduled events appear at the correct local time.

Email Date and Time Display

The selected time zone also affects how email dates and times are displayed.

For example:

  • Received emails
  • Sent emails
  • Conversation timestamps
  • Mail history

Changing your time zone does not change the actual time an email was sent or received. It only changes how that time is displayed in your account.

Default Time Zone

ONS Mail automatically uses your saved time zone whenever you sign in.

If no time zone has been selected, the system applies the default time zone configured for your account or organization.

You can update your preferred time zone at any time from the Time Zone settings.
