Profile Picture

The Profile Picture section allows you to personalize your ONS Mail account by uploading, changing, or removing your profile photo.

Your profile picture is used as your avatar throughout ONS Mail, making it easier for others to recognize your account.

To access the Profile Picture section:

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select the Profile tab.
3. Locate the Profile Picture card.

Where Is My Profile Picture Displayed?

Your profile picture may appear in several areas of ONS Mail, including:

• User profile in the sidebar
• Email list
• Sent emails
• User menu
• Certain notification screens

How to Upload a Profile Picture

To upload a new profile picture:

1. Click the Upload Photo button.
2. Select an image file from your computer.
3. A preview of the selected image will be displayed.
4. Click Save Changes to apply the new profile picture.

Once saved, your profile picture will be used across your ONS Mail account.

Supported File Formats

The following image formats are supported:

• JPG (.jpg)
• PNG (.png)
• GIF (.gif)

Files in unsupported formats cannot be uploaded.

Maximum File Size

The maximum allowed file size for a profile picture is 2 MB.

If your image exceeds this limit, the upload will fail. For the best experience, use a high-quality image with a file size below the limit.

Profile Picture Preview

Before saving your changes, ONS Mail displays a preview of the selected image.

This allows you to confirm that you have selected the correct picture before applying the changes.

Removing Your Profile Picture

To remove your current profile picture, click the Remove button.

After the picture is removed, ONS Mail automatically displays the default avatar, which is generated from the initials of your name.

Saving Your Changes

After uploading, changing, or removing your profile picture, click Save Changes to apply the update.

When the operation is successful, the button briefly changes to ✓ Saved.
